I purchased my Golflogix GPS by Garman on 12/14/2008, but due to back problems I didn't get to use it until 01/05/2009. The software was very easy to use, downloaded the course on Sunday 01/04/2009 and carried my Golflogix to the course on Monday 01/05/2009. Just used this gps golf device for first time and loved it's simplicity. Just turned it on in the course parking lot, hooked on my bag so I could read it without removing, and went from there to pay and to first tee. Never had to adjust or push any buttons unless I wanted to check a specific detail like a hazard distance or verify my distance of the last shot. Love it. Looks like good product but software wouldn't load on my computer.
Researched then ordered Golflogix GPS as it appeared to be one of the best. When it came the GPS device looked good and of high quality. Tried to download software but ran into problems. Called Golflogix and they were very good to work with but could not help. I was told that about 1 in a 1000 computers just will not work with their software. They advised to send the unit back for a refund. I am running Windows XP on a Gateway laptop and a Gateway desktop. Software wouldn't load on either. Too b .... Read more

Very good GPS, almost perfect.
I have tried this unit out on several different golf courses. The yardages are within 1-3 yards of the markers on the course and for my game that works just fine. So far the only issue that I have seen is when you are on the first hole of the course. The yardage is way off, does this on all courses, but when you page up for more info on the first hole that yardage is correct.
