Sureshot golf GPS
We sent it back because it isn't compatible with the MAC system. I wish it had been more obvious from the description before we purchased it. We also weren't satisfied that the courses we normally play weren't even on it. .... Read more

I've used it for two years and it still works great.
I originally bought the Sureshot over the equivalent Skycaddie model because the yearly fee's were much more reasonable. My unit has lasted more than two years and the battery shows no signs of performance loss. I usually go two or three rounds without a recharge. The unit is very accurate, and courses are easily user mapped if they haven't been professionally mapped by Sureshot. This is the only golf gadget I've purchased that hasn't been a waste of money. I still use my Sureshot for every .... Read more

Sub-par performance
I bought this unit because I am a Mac user and when shopping for a GPS this was the only one that touted itself as "Mac compatable." After trying to download the proper software I discovered it wouldn't work because I don't have a Intel-based Mac that will run Parallels Desktop. Let's talk about available courses. I live in Ore .... Read more

I tried contacting the company via their "contact us" email several times and got zero response, so I don't know if this is a problem specific to my unit or a general problem with the model.
Update: After receiving some excellent company technical support by email I must revise my rating to four sta .... Read more

Good but not convenient
Summary:
I got my Sureshot about a month ago and tried it out at my local course for the past 3 weeks. First of all, the unit is pretty, color graphics are much nicer than Skycaddie. It loads up fairly quickly and distances are accurate. The unit is fairly easy to learn to use and much of the functions are self explanitory. The included computer software works but it does not offer much more features than the actual GPS unit. The course maps from the main site is crude at best - at least f .... Read more
